From October 22–26, the global biofeedback community once again turned its attention to Budapest, where the Biofeedback World Conference 2025 took place at the elegant Danubius Hotel Helia.
Over a hundred professionals and enthusiasts gathered from around the world to explore the newest developments in conscious regeneration, nervous system balance, and holistic healing.
This year’s theme, “What do we carry within? – The impact of childhood imprints on adulthood through the lens of biofeedback”, touched everyone deeply.
Our childhood experiences both the visible and the hidden leave lasting imprints in our bodies and nervous systems, shaping how we think, feel, and connect. Through biofeedback, we can recognize and transform these invisible patterns, regaining control over our physical and emotional wellbeing.
Four days of knowledge, inspiration, and connection
The conference began with a warm welcome dinner, where professionals from all over the world met in person and reconnected with old colleagues and friends. What followed was a multi-layered professional journey where science, technology, and the human soul came together.
Throughout the sessions, participants enjoyed truly valuable and insightful presentations.
The opening lecture by prof. dr. habil. Gabriella Hegyi PhD offered a deep look into the past, present, and future of biofeedback, providing a solid foundation for the event.
Peggy Shoar explored emotional imprints and childhood trauma, while dr. Zita Csomai delved into prenatal trauma and the psychological effects of twin loss.
Filipa Pinto Cardoso spoke about addictions, showing that we all carry certain dependency patterns that can be transformed through biofeedback.
Fredy Vinagre analyzed neurasthenia, the “forgotten illness” rooted in childhood, and Harina Lodhia shared her experience on using biofeedback in concussion recovery.
Yioula Patera inspired attendees with her talk on supporting the new generation in building emotional and nervous system resilience.
The final day featured Benita Serfontein, who asked the thought-provoking question “Does your biography become your biology?”, followed by Fernando Crespo O’Neill, who highlighted the role of the microbiome, and Bala Lodhia, who offered a practical and educational session on homeopathy from A to Z.
Each day concluded with interactive Q&A sessions, where participants could engage directly with speakers, exchange experiences, and deepen their understanding.
A global event accessible to everyone
The conference was held in hybrid format once again, allowing attendees to participate either in person in Budapest or online from anywhere in the world.
All sessions remain available on the Vibeyoup learning platform, giving participants the chance to revisit lectures and continue learning.
For those who joined in person, the organizers provided technical support, device testing, and free software updates, ensuring a smooth and professional experience for every participant.
